Reina de Cavite

While the devotees pulled the carroza of the Virgen towards to the Cathedral, I was a little bit nervous and yet so much happy as thousands of people staring and amaze of how beautiful She is in Her galleon.Step by step, as I've noticed that the carroza is near approaching the cathedral, my hands gets cold and my heart beats faster. I don't know why, but that's how I feel. I heard some of them says that "Patrona 'yan ng Cavite City, ang ganda, sobra!!", I admit that was a big compliment not only for me but to all the devotees and of course to the Cofradia de la Soledad who made that carroza possible. And when the time that the magnificent carroza of Reina de Cavite was in the front of the Cathedral, facing and giving respect to the Partroness of the Diocese of Imus, the Nuestra Señora del Pilar, my heart beats more faster and faster and definitely, goose bumps. As Fr. Allan Vallero, the Parish Priest of Imus Cathedral read the history of the Reina de Cavite, unstoppable applause of thousands of people showing their respect to the venerated image of the N.S de la Soledad de Porta Vaga and as he shout these words "MULI NATING PALAKPAKAN ANG NAGIISANG REYNA NG LALAWIGAN NG KABITE", I heard a more powerful applause to all of the people who is in front of the Cathedral and witnessed that moment. I know that we, the devotees and the Reina de Cavite leaves a mark and a history to each and everyone who witnessed that unforgettable moment.

Once more, the Nuestra Señora de la Soledad de Porta Vaga and the devotees proved the She is the ONE and ONLY "REINA DE CAVITE".

Viva Virgen de la Soledad de Porta Vaga!!!!
Viva!!!!
